Mimetico is a video and sculptural work that autonomously surfs the internet for pornography to display. The work finds and blends multiple videos together using the first ever camouflage pattern, Telo Mimetico (1929), as a visual framework. As performers within the videos climax, the intensity of the work’s distortion increases.

Come Telos (2021)
Quadraphonic Installation/Performance for Modular Synthesizer and MAX MSP in Eporner API, Bird Calls, Internet Pornography
Come Telos is a “musical” instrument and a quadraphonic sound installation or performance. In the work, a computer program listens to randomized selections of internet pornography. As an installation, the program reinterprets the pornography’s sounds as bird calls. As a performance, the performer replaces a line of code and may use the sounds of ecstasy (or otherwise) as cues to play bird calls. As the unseen pornography reaches climaxes and anticlimaxes, the bird’s intelligibility degrades, mimicking the erotic peaks and valleys.
